I honestly never really thought about it like that, but it certainly wonāt make it easier. A fully stable experience definitely would help out.
What Iām kinda wonderingā¦do reviewers NOT take tech issues into account when they review a game? I never read any reviews for Dark Souls, I just played them myself and that was it. But would it be fair to take framerete issues (that likely wonāt be fully resolved) with the score and maybe score it slightly lower?
XSX reviews are rated lower than PS5 so I think reviewers are taking into account of performance in some shape and form.
The review disparity is nuts though, 44 reviews on PS5 and only 8 for XSX.
Because BAMCO sent out more PS5 codes than XSX codes.
What framedrops and hitches are you talking about? Iāve beaten dozens of bosses and not had any performance issues while fighting them.

I think so. I think you are given a PS5 code unless you specifically ask for XSX/PC.
Saw ads on YouTube today and the PS5 copy is placed in front too. I guess weāll never know what happened, because MS did freaking debut that first trailer at their show.
Ah well.
Supposedly the game is still āneutralā in terms of marketing.

From previous reports on reddit. I suppose those are pre-patch. If those are smoothed out, thatās a good sign but knowing Fromās history, I aināt countinā on it.
Iām still gonna base a new purchase on the DF, reddit and XBE console comparisons though. Not gonna pay for a nerfed version.
the bus side ad someone posted a couple days ago had the xbox box in front of the rest, box placement does not indicate specific platform marketing

If I read this without context, I would think thereās only PS5 version and no XS boost or even One X boost. We should just wait and see on the performance and what not.

Not for me. I love Dark Souls, 2 was great but didnāt hit me as much as 1 did and 3 the same. Bloodborne Iāve barely played and Sekiro I gave up on too easily, my own damn fault.
But a BGS game, I donāt know how to put it but they have a special place in my heart. When something by them is announced my hype is through the roof and when itās about to come outā¦well, letās just say I canāt get much more hyped. So as great as ER undoubtedly is, I personally expect Starfield will end up being my GOTY.
Itās Toddās dream game, brand new IP, new ideas, space, sci-fi, letās fucking go.
