Alright man, I didn’t mean to imply you need to give your credentials, just that I wasn’t noticing such a major difference in feel from 2042 to BFV. You clearlly did, as did Mostlyharmless
Not sure why I wasn’t noticing this so much, but we can just agree to disagree and hope the full game comes out better than this ill advised beta did
This is what I disliked the most about the beta. Everything felt weightless, no sense of physicality, no sense of impact all felt light & too speedy. The character movement was too much for a modern BF. Unlimited sprint wtf. I Prefer BF3 & BF4 speed.
Also why have they removed all the good movements from BFV. Combat roll, prone on your back etc.
We should assume as the game tends towards milsim we should get tactical moves and positions but nope, nothing. Was disappointed.
Hope they listen to all the feedback needed and make everything in their power to bring back the true BF experience.
Not exactly a detailed explanaition of what exactly this mode is. I know we keep hearing Escape from Tarkov / Hunt Showdown comparisons, but I don’t know for sure…
Will there be a mix of PVP and PVE, or just PVP? Is there more to loot than just the drives they showed? Still needs more 'splainin
Yeah. I used to watch streams of Tarkov and thought man, I know this Dev is small but if they don’t get a big publisher to help push and grow this thing, becuase it’s a great idea, someone is going to be the Fortnite to their PUBG and swoop in and…Here it is
Though it’s obviously not exactly the same. It’s not a tactical shooter like EFT, nor do I expected it’s survival elements to be anywhere near as exaustive. It’s still Battlefield…or COD, if you go by some of the other posters here. Heh heh
If they know that all those bugs and jank from the beta, still exist. Yeah
But we’re assuming that it’s true because we’re making the same mistake we always do with beta’s. Not saying everything will be straightened out, but they say most of them already were before they even releeased that stupid beta. Which is why my biggest grip is their decision to put the beta out at all. I know why they felt they had to, but that old thing was clearly a mess that did more harm than good
And it doesn’t help that Halo Infinites flights were so solid, but that’s the exception not the rule. We need to remember that. Even when it’s more fun to overreact and call for delays and come up with meme nicknames
Hard to remember something like that, but off the top of my head, Bad Company 2, Rainbow 6 Siege, Black Ops 3 and Halo Reach had some rough beta’s if I remember
I think that Infinite definietely is playing a part in messing with perception of how this normally goes. Which is not an excuse for how bad this beta was. Too bad DICE, someone did a way better job than you did. But it still doesn’t mean 2042’s beta build woes have no shot of being cleaned up, at least to a decent degree, in the launch build
As it doesn’t have to be bad beta to great release. All it needs to be is bad beta to good game, more solid running game at release to completely prove you guys wrong with how far you’re going
