Because nobody expects Battlefield campaign because most suck and its not the draw of the game. If I get a premium online experience and support I dont care if its f2p. The only other F2P full game online is Halo Infinite and we have no idea how that will end up.
BFV era has no relation to what will happen with this one game wise and its a return to the era people have been wanting Battlefield to go back to. 3 and 4 were excellent this just seems to take that up a notch.
EA has not once used smart delivery lol but I will criticize this being $70 and PC being $60.
People love DICE multiplayers, myself included. They are a ton of fun and you can spend so much time in them. Battlefront II for example had a lot of problems on launch yet they fixed them for the most part and I absolutely loved that game. Now that theyāre putting more focus on the MP rather than putting resources on a campaign which has always been hit or miss for Battlefield, Thereās an even better chance itāll turn out to be a great experience.
Regarding the CGI trailer, the gameplay reveal is literally only in 3 days so thereās no problem with that and people already know what to expect from it. But I am mad at no Smart Delivery and the price. I think it will still be worth that price, but I aināt buying it at that price regardless.
I think itās only for the Gold and Ultimate editions.
Yeah, I know. Itās in-engine. Personally I donāt consider it CGI either. But the person I was replying to was calling it āCGIā, so I just went along with it. The actual gameplay of DICE games usually looks just as good.
With COD becoming more and more unbearable, this year may be the year of Battlefield for me. I installed 5 recently and find it a much more casual and enjoyable experience overall.
There are more specialist ārolesā for people to fill in BF that allow you ot contribute without being the best āshooterā on the team.
A team with a good fighter pilot can have a great match because they completely shut down the opponents helicopters.
Likewise a competent helicopter pilot capable of evading missiles and flying in a way that his gunners can hit targets can make the opposing team struggle.
Another one is a tank/engineer pair or transport heli/ engineer/ gunner pair where the engineer is repairing the equipment while the others fight. The engineer barely shoots, but without them, the tank could not survive in a sustained fight.
This is what makes BF a different experience to other hallway shooters

Youāre acting like everyone will get it on gamepass and skip buying it. If anything theyre more likely to get a gamepass 1 month trialā¦play the game and buy it at a discount for 62 bucks instead of 70 EA are charging for it.
That right there is the Doncabesa / PoderickPayne special sauce. We usually end up with half the server desperate to kill us. Being engineer can be so much fun jumping in and out of the tank to fix the tank and kill anyone trying creep up with explosives, while trying not to get blown to kingdom come
As if that could ever happen. There will be plenty of single player games for you now, 10 year from now and beyond
Personally, I hate Real Time Strategy games and Turn Based RPGās. What I donāt do is go in to threads about those games to whine about them to all the people that enjoy them. Because why the hell would I want to do that?
