As I said before, Warhammer: Chaosbane is an uninspired Diablo clone that somehow still manages to be fun. With that said, they were out of their minds when they re-released this game for the new gen without support to Smart Delivery and priced at $60. With that in mind it is no surprise that there are less than 200 tracked gamers on True Achievements.
The achievements are pretty simple. By finishing the story you get most of the achievements, but there are some grindy achievements in the end that will take you around 5 to 6 hours. After that, you will have to finish the game with five other characters.
For my sanity’s sake I found an exploit that cut the completion time in around 10 hours. I started a second playthrough with a new character, and when I reached the final boss I picked up another three controllers and filled my party with three new characters. When I beat the boss I unlocked the achievement for finishing the game for each of the four characters!
Then I just needed to finish the game with one more character. You can storm through the story on Very Easy difficulty in less than 3 hours.
Just gotta say, I love your write ups dude. Do you keep a list of them anywhere or post them on Trueachievements at all? Otherwise I might just have to scroll through and see if there’s anything I should check out.
Hey, thanks! I actually never thought about posting them on TA, I might aswell start doing so!
I think I started sharing them here after getting the Avengers completion (#80). Whenever I complete a game I don’t feel like playing anything else for a while, so I end up compiling some quick thoughts and posting them here. It’s nice to scroll up at times and remember some of those completions!

Every GamerScore earned until Monday, February 1, 2021 2:59 AM will also count towards January’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the month will gain 100 points, the second place will gain 90 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new month will begin.
Don’t forget that this topic is first and foremost destined to talk about all your achievements and trophies, discuss completions and even try to gather people for a boosting session! The Ranking is just a side activity to take part in.
It looks like a decent free-to-play multiplayer third-person shooter with an easy-enough achievements list, but it has an odd achievement for playing 25 hours while in a party.
I’ve recently completed No Man’s Sky which was a lot of fun, if anyone else is playing it I can help out with some achievements and I’ve got a checkpoint save for the permadeath achievement that I can help people with.
Aside from that, on Call of the Sea now then Fallen Order. Will pick up Hitman 3 in a couple of weeks.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising was one of the best games of 2020 for me, as well as one of the biggest surprises. It takes inspiration on some great games like Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with a backstory based on the Greek Mythology that wasn’t decently used since God of War (disclaimer: I haven’t played Hades yet).
The sense of adventure and discovery is great, and the world is simply gorgeous. It is an island divided in four different regions, and each one of them is so different to the other. There are also two more regions that are more intended to the endgame.
You can complete the main story missions at any order you want. You can even battle some powerful bosses early on if you master the dodging mechanic, but it would be wise to upgrade some of your abilities first.
The game’s biggest flaw is that it is still an Ubisoft game, so the map can be overloaded with side activities to do. At least it is not nearly as big as the last Assassin’s Creed games, making it a bit less of a chore.
My other complaint is that there are many, many heavy puzzle sections. I had to put the game on hold for a while because I couldn’t stand entering another chamber and seeing so many puzzles on the horizon anymore. But on the bright side most of the puzzles are decently thought and give us a sense of accomplishment when completed.
Achievements-wise it is very easy and it has just one (hardly) missable achievement. Luckily you don’t have to open every single chest on the map nor complete every chamber, but you do have to complete all the mythical challenges, as well as defeat every optional boss in the game. You can play the game on the easiest difficulty, which makes it a breeze to play. There is a point of no return, but the game warns you about it and creates a save right before it.
If you need a breath of fresh air, give Immortals a try. I grabbed it 33% off after a couple of weeks of its release, so it is likely to be heavily discounted again pretty soon!
Both base games are a lot harder, take a lot longer and are heavy influenced by rng. But they don’t change the title update achievements. So easy 2k and harder 1k for both games.
